What’s your biggest SACRIFICE?

One of Webster’s, online dictionary, definition of sacrifice is the destruction or surrender of something for the sake of something else.    To watch television for an hour, is to sacrifice some time that could be spend doing something else, to shop is sacrificing money that could be used for something else. Everything we do is a sacrifice. Everything requires time or thought, therefore  we are always sacrificing the time to do something else, or sacrificing the thought to do something else. Based on this definition, life is a sacrifice.

We have so many choices in life, that to choose one thing, will ultimately sacrifice something else.  Losing weight and gaining a healthier life also requires sacrifice.  But in the instances above, not all sacrifices are hurtful, or harmful.  That money used while shopping, could buy you your needed groceries, the television show you watched could have been watched with your college daughter that was in town, allowing for more time together.

Sacrifice does NOT have to hurt.  Sacrificing some sugar to lose the extra weight you gain, does NOT have to hurt either.  At BodyTech we make sure to guide you in preparation of the foods so that you don’t feel like you have had to “sacrifice”.  So many choices of foods await, and we have many recipes to help you in the journey (not just the diet journey, but life….maintenance!)
