Yellow Squash Bread
Great for all Phases
Easy to prepare
Ingredients:
- 2 yellow (summer) squash
- 1 egg
- sea salt to taste
- garlic to taste
Directions:
Step 1. Wash the squash, using cheese grater, grate the squash until you reach the center with the seeds (throw those away).
Step 2. Mix the egg and salt, garlic in with the squash.
Step 3. Line baking sheet with parchment paper
Step 4. Scoop mixture onto parchment paper forming 2 squares.
Step 5. Pat with paper towel to get some moisture out.
Step 6. Bake on 375 until brown on bottom and sides, flip and bake 10 more minutes.
Optional:
Add 1 crushed bag of any flavor Ideal Protein Chips (count as 1 Ideal Protein, and vegetables).
Add 1 packet of Ideal Protein Crispy Cereal and 1 tsp. baking powder and bake like the crispy cereal breads (counts as 1 Ideal Protein and vegetables)
