For example, “once you recover from a sore throat, you can stop taking the medicine that cured you. Dieting, on the other hand, doesn’t work that way. When you lose weight, the underlying issues don’t magically go away. Nope. Instead, diet change has to be supported life long…or it will disappear in a heartbeat.
