Sugar is taking a devastating toll on our health. The single largest source of calories for Americans comes from sugar. We eat too much of it. It’s impossible to avoid sugar entirely but we must be mindful and avoid sugar whenever possible. Don’t be fooled from nutrition labels claiming zero sugar. If nutritional labels just said “sugar,” the task of cutting sugar out would be easy, but they don’t so you must read the ingredients. There are many more names for sugar. Here are a few:
