Beef and Cabbage Soup
Great for all phases
Simple to prepare
Ingredients:
- 1/2 head of cabbage shredded
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 4 c. beef broth (no sugar, fat free)
- 1 c. water
- 2 tbsp. minced onions
- 2 cans garlic fire roasted diced tomatoes (no sugar added)
- 2 tsp. onion powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Step 1. brown the ground beef half way, add onions and onion powder and continue to brown. Drain.
Step 2. In large soup pot, mix all ingredients together and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 30 minutes (or longer)
