Apple Crumble
Great for Phases 1 – 4
Easy to prepare
Ingredients:
- 1 c. chayote squash (peeled and cubed)
- 1 packet Ideal Protein Apple Cinnamon Soy Puffs (crushed)
- 1 tsp. grapeseed oil
- 1 packet Stevia or Splenda
- 2 tbsp. water
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tbsp. Walden Farms Apple Butter
- 1 tbsp. Walden Farms Maple Syrup
Directions:
Step 1. Microwave chayote for 3 minutes.
Step 2. Heat frying pan with grape seed oil, add all ingredients.
Step 3. Brown chayote, stirring often.
Step 4. Turn down heat to low, cover and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 5. Fill ramekins, and top with the IP Apple Cinnamon Soy Puffs.
