Dirty Rice
Good for all phases
Easy to prepare
Ingredients:
- 16 oz. lean beef (turkey, chicken)
- 1 tsp. cajun seasoning (sugar free)
- 1/4 tsp. rubbed sage
- 4 tsp. olive oil
- 2/3 c. diced green peppers
- 1/2 c. diced celery
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 1/3 c. green onion chopped
- 2 1/2 c. riced cauliflower
- Sausage Seasoning
3 1/2 tsp. papris
1 1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. fennel seed
1 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Directions:
Step 1. Brown beef, and sprinkle with sausage, cajun and sage seasonings.
Step 2. Heat olive oil in separate pan, add peppers, celery and garlic for approx 4 minutes, add green onion and continue sautee for 4 minutes.
Step 3. Add riced cauliflower, lower heat and cover for 6 minutes on medium heat.
